Practical Information for Guests
To preserve the elegance and smooth flow of the evening, we kindly ask all guests to observe the following
Punctuality
The Royal Ball will run according to a carefully prepared programme. Late entry is not permitted during musical or dance performances, so we encourage guests to arrive early to be properly welcomed before the opening. Doors will open well in advance to allow a graceful arrival.
Dress Code
All guests are kindly asked to observe the dress code appropriate to their ticket category (see Dress Code section). The dress code is not intended to intimidate, but to make you feel uniquely part of the evening. Whether White Tie, Black Tie, or Evening Formal, your attire helps create the atmosphere of refinement and belonging that makes the Ball a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Official programme booklets, containing the evening’s order of events and cultural notes, will be available for purchase at the entrance. Guests may also purchase them together with their tickets in advance to ensure availability.
Mobile Phones & Devices
Out of courtesy to performers and fellow guests, all mobile phones must be silenced or set to flight mode. Notifications, ringtones, or screen lights can disturb the atmosphere and will be disruptive to the dignity of the occasion.
Photography & Filming
Personal photography and filming during performances is not permitted. A professional photographer will be present throughout the evening to capture the splendour of the Ball. Selected photos will be made available after the event so that all guests may cherish the memories without distraction.
Accessibility
Wheelchair Access
Adelaide Town Hall wheelchair access via ramp at main entrance and lift access to all levels. No access to Dress Circle or Gallery as there are steps. Accessible parking is available in front of the Adelaide Town Hall on King William Street daily from 7.00pm to midnight
