A Culinary Journey Through Croatia

Showcasing the diverse flavors and traditions of Dalmatia, Istria, and Slavonia

This special menu (included with your ticket) has been thoughtfully curated to celebrate the rich regional diversity of Croatian cuisine. Each area of Croatia offers its own unique blend of cultural, historical, and geographical influences, reflected in the flavours and ingredients that define its food. We invite you to travel through three distinct regions — Dalmatia, Istria, and Slavonia — each represented by a signature dish that captures the essence of its culinary heritage.

The menu below is included with your ticket.

Istria - Istra

Northwestern peninsula, near the borders of Slovenia and Italy. Known as Croatia’s gastronomic heartland, Istria is where Italian, Central European, and Croatian culinary traditions blend seamlessly. The region is celebrated for its truffles, wild mushrooms, olive oil, homemade pasta, and seafood — all rooted in a love for local, seasonal ingredients. This dish is a tribute to Istria’s earthy, indulgent flavours:

Chanterelle Mushroom Cream Pasta

Finished with truffle oil and fresh parsley — rich, comforting, and unmistakably Istrian.

Dalmatia - Dalmacija

Southern coastal region along the Adriatic Sea. Dalmatian cuisine is heavily influenced by the Mediterranean way of life — light, fresh, and full of sun-soaked flavor. Think olive oil, garlic, herbs, seafood, and vibrant seasonal vegetables. Being a coastal region, seafood plays a starring role, and we’ve captured that spirit with a dish of:

Grilled Fish & Potato Skewer

Served with a fragrant Swiss chard oil, paying homage to the classic Dalmatian side dish blitva s krumpirom. We also honour Dalmatia’s legendary Pršut — a dry-cured, wind-dried ham, delicately sliced and traditionally served with local cheese, embodying the region’s simple elegance and artisanal tradition.

Slavonia - Slavonija

Eastern Croatia — bordering Hungary, Serbia, and Bosnia. Slavonia brings bold, rustic flavors shaped by centuries of Central European and Ottoman influence. Known for its hearty fare and dedication to pig farming and cured meats, the region’s food is warming, robust, and proudly homemade. To showcase this tradition, we present a cold charcuterie-style plate featuring:

Slavonski Kulen & Kobasice

Dry spicy salami and smoked sausage, sliced and served alongside red pickled capsicum stuffed with cheese — a flavourful and authentic reflection of Slavonia’s rich culinary roots.

Dessert – A Sweet Croatian Farewell

No Croatian meal is complete without something sweet, and we’ve chosen 2 beloved traditional treats to end the evening on a festive note.

Kroštule

Light, crispy fried pastry ribbons, dusted with powdered sugar.

Fritule

Bite-sized Croatian fried dough balls, lightly sugared and infused with rakija (grappa) and raisins.
